In episode 52 of Whisky in SV, I did a blind tasting of three Buffalo Trace 90 Proof Whiskies: The new tattered whiskey called Traveller Blend No. 40., compared with the namesake Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and the well-known and beloved Eagle Rare 10 year bourbon. The Traveller Blend No. 40 Whiskey is indeed very different from the two bourbons, so it was easy to pick out. On the back of the bottle, it says "Good Whiskey is like a good song. It requires no explanation. One taste should tell you everything you need to know. No one has to tell you how to feel about it. You simply settle in and enjoy".
