The Ordinary Skincare Retinoid 2% VS Retinol 1% - What isn't being said!

This is a review and comparison of The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2% comparing it to The Ordinary Retinol 1%. Please note, I am NOT bashing the 2% product, and in fact I have ordered a 2nd bottle as I explained. This may be confusing as I'm saying that there is no long term safety data yet, but we each have to decide what risks we take and in fact we take a calculated risk every time we step outside. I am a bit of a risk taker anyway, and from what I can see and understand, I'm happy with the safety profile of the 2% so far. That doesn't mean that in months or years to come when there is more research that there aren't some surprises in store, but I use the product in the full knowledge that that is the risk I'm taking. Some people out there may be more cautious than myself, so I'm giving you all the information I have discovered. I'd also like to add that the company isn't doing anything wrong - my questions are simply questions, nothing more nothing less. As a retailer, I wouldn't expect them to bring attention to the fact that there isn't any solid research, and as a manufacturer I wouldn't expect them to not sell the product until full research results were in, that's just not the way business works. What I'm trying to do is fill in the blanks and make sure that you are all fully informed, and you can then make your own conclusions :0) Finally, I could have gone straight to the company to ask for answers to my questions, and I still may do that but why didn't I? In my experience, they don't always answer, its something I've tried in the past, or they will answer vaguely. I wanted to get this video up rather than having to wait for answers from a company - whilst working in research and emailing Commercial companies, I could wait months for answers to urgent matters and I know my email wouldn't make it to a priority list.
