Back with another crossover arrangement influenced by a few different tracks: Discussion Heat Up and Hope vs Despair from Danganronpa, and Pursuit ~ Cornered and Objection 2001 from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. ❤️ Patreon: / everythingfantasy 💬 Discord Community: / discord 🎵 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/2o4AG... 🎵 Downloads: https://everythingfantasy.bandcamp.com/ In many ways a new rendition of Heated Pursuit which I released last year ( • Heated Pursuit - Danganronpa x Ace Attorney ). This time though I wanted to see what more I could do with the elements from all of these tracks. Experiment with new phrases, ideas, instrumentation, harmony and much more. The references to Objection 2001 are a lot more prominent this time. The main melody itself is a combo of Pursuit and Heat Up as opposed to separating the two. This was a very spur of the moment arrangement idea that, as with most things I do, happened at 2am when I should have been sleeping! Spent quite a bit of time having from with the 8 Hours sample and actually chopping it up this time, much more akin to Takada's use of it, as identified by @MegaStrike. Chord sequences and overall key signature are very different this time too. I almost wanted to see how far you could reharmonize pursuit without losing the original feel of the track. The chord change to Ab Diminished at 0:51 hits me inside. Almost makes me feel a good sense of unease. The little piano section about a minute into Heated Pursuit inspired the lo-fi-esque section of this arrangement at 2:00. I wanted to do something similar yet different at the same time. I always thought it was a little off in hindsight that in heated pursuit, every instrument loses its high end frequencies besides the piano for that section. So I decided to exaggerate it this time round and make everything lose those glistening high frequencies. I really like the feel it creates. There's this hopeful intensity to it. Kind of like you're reaching the turning point in a trial. As always, thanks for watching! SOCIAL MEDIA: 📷 Instagram: / cory_l64 🐦Twitter: / cory_lawrence1
