I bought an ABS headliner for my 1947 Ford COE… and yeah… THIS WENT WRONG. The plan was simple: test fit, trim, wrap it, done. Instead? It didn’t fit. It wasn’t even close. So I did what any guy would do… I CUT IT IN HALF. 🤣 In this video I: Test fit the aftermarket ABS headliner Realize it’s too narrow for my cab Split it down the middle Widen the center section Mock everything back into place Start figuring out how to make this thing actually work This is the hack & mock stage — before upholstery, before final wrap, before paint. Just real garage problem solving. Nothing on this COE has been easy… and that’s exactly how we like it.
