62 years old former French Navy Alouette 2 at Nancy Essey airport. The Alouette 2 is a French light helicopter. It was the first production helicopter powered by a gas turbine engine instead of the heavier conventional piston powerplant. It was introduced in 1957. The standard layout includes two seats in the front, including one for the pilot, and three seats in the rear, but the optional equipment is numerous and allows a wide variety of missions: transport of loads under sling, medical evacuation, agricultural spraying, rescue with winch ...
