This climb has everything. A tough start, up's and downs mid-way and a glorious finish up to the Iron Cross. It's a tough climb and I found the first 6km's to La Riviera Allemont, up through the forest, the most difficult segment. It is well worth it as you reach the most serene and peaceful lake of, L’Eau d’Olle. At this point you have it all. Hairpin roads snaking up mountains, lush green meadows and breathtaking scenery.
