Daniel Namkhay is a musician from Brazil and Argentina, multi-instrumentalist, and the composer of 13 World Music (Ethnic Music) albums. For 30 years, he has been reasearching the power of music, the myths and spirituality of the native cultures of the world. Daniel's first album called "Welcome to Earth", was specially composed to the birth of his son, and was played in the moment of birth, at the delivery room, to receive his son Luan with music. His music is created with more than 225 native flutes, leather, clay and bamboo drums and percussion; Kalimbas, crystal singing bowls, voices and many other neo-primitive instruments. He has devoted over 26 years of his life to record these intruments at professional recording studios. And thus, he can perform live concerts by himself, using the recordings of drums, voices, wind sounds, water sounds, bird singing, and forest sounds he created with native instruments. Using these native instruments recordings as a playback background for his flutes, he performes the show "Native Music Ceremony", where the audience is invited to sing and participate with percussion instruments from the Amazon rainforest and from Indonesia. His intention is to express and transmit through music the energy of peace, re-connection with the energy of nature, and to feel the fraternity, love and joy among beings. Namkhay performs 3 hour-long live shows, his "Native Music Ceremonies" (peaceful music concerts), in Brazil and other countries. He teaches Native American flute in the course "Sacred Wind". He sells Native American wood and bamboo flutes called "Shambhala's Wind".
