Dir jauchzen die Engel, die Himmel und alle Mächte zu. Auch die Seraphim und Cherubin jauchzen dir alle ohne Ende zu. Heilig, heilig, heilig, Herr, Gott der himmlischen Heere. Himmel und Erde sind erfüllt von deiner Herrlichkeit. Dich lobpreist der Apostel glorreicher Chor: dich lobpreist der Propheten ruhmwürdige Schar: dich lobpreist der Märtyrer strahlendes Heer. Dich bekennt über den Erdkreis hin die heilige Kirche: dich, den Vater voll unermeßlicher Hoheit: deinen wahren und einzigen Sohn, aller Anbetung würdig; den Heiligen Geist auch, den Tröster. Du bist König der Glorie, Christus. Du bist des Vaters ewiger Sohn. Du scheutest nicht zurück vor dem Schoße der Jungfrau, um die Menschheit zu retten. Du hast besiegt den Stachel des Todes und allen, die glauben, die himmlischen Reiche geöffnet. Du thronst zur Rechten Gottes, in der Glorie des Vaters. Du wirst kommen als Richter, so bekennt unser Glaube. Dich nun flehen wir an, komm deinen Dienern zu Hilfe, die du erkauft um dein kostbares Blut. Laß uns in deiner Herrlichkeit zu der Schar der Heiligen zählen. Rette, o Herr, dein Volk, dein Eigentum segne. Lenke uns, trage uns in Ewigkeit! Tag für Tag preisen wir dich. Ewig loben wir deinen Namen bis in die Ewigkeiten der Ewigkeit. Herr, bewahre uns heute huldvoll vor jeglicher Sünde. Erbarme dich unser, Herr, erbarme dich unser. We believe that Thou shalt come to be our judge. We thercfore pray Thee, help Thy servants, whom Thou hast redeemed with Thy precious blood.
