I'll show you how to ACE (plus) the missions in this high flying adventure! -------------- This Final Mission is actually a 2-Part deal. The FIRST part is a mission that varies depending on how you collect the map pieces. I display this in a chart below. The second part is the Tower of Maximus. If you lose while at the Tower of Maximus, you do NOT have to do the first part mission again. (You probably won't be able to get an A+ without, though.) I got The Great Falls. And honestly, it's a fairly simple mission. You can actually get all 5000 required points after getting through Rainbow Falls if you pulled off all the required stunts (which I didn't on this run). Don't worry if you don't, however, there are TONS of rings in this level, you will not be short on stunt points. I recommend going full throttle in the cave behind the falls, you have a lot of space. Just make liberal use of the air brakes! There will be an upcoming area that's unique in how there are rings all spread out. Get them any order you like, just keep in mind your path continues through the falls above the rock outcropping. You'll be in a tight spot after blindly heading through, so keep sharp! ...and as odd as it sounds, the following up/down is the HARDEST part on this level in my opinion. Try to take it slower than I did! The tower of Maximus? Not much for me to say but, "Good luck!". It's tricky, but again, take it slower if you feel you must. When the water starts rising, USE your tail-fin! Adjust your yaw! It isn't as responsive as pitching or rolling, but it's your best option! The rest of your flight is fairly simple, but beware the confusing landing strip at the end. Congratulations! You win! Now go back and try to get those other end missions! (There are other secrets, too. Maybe in upcoming videos!) Final Mission Chart ======= 1 - Take The Low Road 2 - The Labyrinth 3 - The Ancient Forest 4 - Over The Falls A. 1,2,3,4, - The Fire Mountain B. 2,1,3,4 - The Fire Mountain C. 1,2,4,3 - The Great Falls D. 2,1,4,3 - The Great Falls E. 1,3,2,4 - A Tight Squeeze F. 2,4,1,3 - A Tight Squeeze -------------- To get an A+ rating you MUST finish a level under the time limit posed (keep in mind it takes an amount of time to land safely, too!), you MUST not take all too much damage (three slightly clipped [green] sections is a safe limit), and you MUST make around 5,000 in acrobatics points. That last bit is the hardest part. Here's a crash course (...bad choice of words, methinks) in acrobatics: Complete a ROLL in as many checkpoints as you can. This will be your bread and butter. You can generally make your quota in this manner, though some levels make this an impossibility. Complete a ROLL just as you enter a checkpoint, then complete another ROLL immediately after. This will double your bonus if properly executed. (Mind.. I didn't know about this one until after these recordings, so use it to get a leg up on my runs, eh?) You can also do rolls anywhere you like, but they only net a measly 100 points most times. Fly low! If you're at speed and low over the ground you'll net a repeated 10 points for low altitude flying. If you want that +10 to speed up significantly, tilt a wing towards the ground! If you tilt completely sideways it picks up even more. If you fly UPSIDE-DOWN it's crazy fast. As much fun as the above can be, it often doesn't add up fast enough to compensate for the risk. Rolling through checkpoints is generally enough. SOME levels require you to attempt this stunt for points due to lack of checkpoints. Complete a ROLL with LOW ALTITUDE flying. This'll net you a nice little bonus which is almost enough to match a roll through a ring. Mind... this is WAY more risky. You'll notice that I often execute one of these right at the start 'cause it's easy enough right then and there once you get the hang of it (and you can instantly restart if you foul up). MAKE SURE you are flying at above 130 knots or so, first! Complete a ROLL through a CHECKPOINT at LOW ALTITUDE. This one will net you a very nice bonus. I think it's just as much as two rolls through a checkpoint, so, you may be better off doing that one instead since it is safer. There are also loop-de-loops, but they take too much time to execute and aren't high paying enough to bother. ------- Techniques excised - see other videos for description ----------- That's all I can think off the top of my head. There are many planes you can choose from and they all have quite different handling and abilities. I went with the biplane because it is the most awesome. Plane and simple~ Happy Flying!
