Men in some cases use やります when the recipient of the favorable action is one of their friends or colleagues. More polite than あげます is さしあげます , which is used when the recipient is someone whose position is very high or someone who does not have a close relation with the speaker. くださいます：Superior give me. くれます：Equals or inferiors give me My manager kindly gave me a book.
