Chopping Corn Silage at Benton Dairy in West Central Indiana In this video I am out at Benton Dairy in West Central Indiana as they have a custom crew in chopping their corn silage. In the video I am out in a corn field about 15 miles from the dairy as they corn is being chopped by Fruahiger Livestock out of Montpelier Indiana using one of their Claas Jaguar 980 self propelled forage harvesters. There is several trucks & trailers plus a JCB Tractor & Meyer Silage cart hauling the silage from the field back to the dairy farm. Back at the dairy farm after the silage is dumped it is being pushed up the silage pile with a Claas Xerion 5000 tractor with a Grouser blade. Also on the pile packing the silage is a John Deere 9630 and 9430T tractors. Corn Silage chopping is happening right now on many farms in Ohio and Indiana and I will have several different silage videos coming from other farms.
