Not long into this Chapter, if you've collected all the other Crystal Skulls, you can get the Giant Crystal Skull. It serves no purpose, but it's neat that it exists. It's inside this weird pillar thing radiating energy. The pillar is still there in Sigma 2, but the Giant Crystal Skull itself was cut for some reason. I guess because it serves no practical purpose. But it always looked off, like something was SUPPOSED to go there and you can see what that was in NGII. Other than that, not much is different beyond some different enemy placements like centaurs being around.
