Have an idea for a video? Send it here: • REQUEST BOX! Note: This video will not include EVERY single variant. I decided to add my favorite variants, including variants included in other logo histories on KUHT, because if I added every variant, then it would be unwatchable. Also, not every variant could be found. I will delete any comments saying "You forgot [variation not included]" or any other criticism. Some sources claim the 2015-c.20 ident stopped being used in 2016, but I saw a video from 2019 by the official YouTube channel that used a variant of that exact ident, so I can only guess it was used before their 2020 rebranding. The first variant shown in the 1978 section has been edited due to copyright. KUHT is a PBS member television station launched on 25th May 1953 in Houston, Texas, United States. Owned by the University of Houston System, it is sister to NPR member station KUHF (88.7 FM). They also serve the neighboring Beaumont-Port Arthur and Victoria markets (the latter and KLRN in San Antonio) as they do not have a PBS station. KUHT is notable as the first public television station in the United States. My next video will be Corus Entertainment Logo History. This video was released for educational purposes only. I have given credit to the original creators/capturers of the logos/idents featured in the end credits of this video. No monetization is made off this channel. If you feel a video infringes on your rights, please let me know via the About section on the Jonty's Logo Archive channel (instead of striking or filing a privacy complaint), and it will be promptly trimmed from the video.
