This is the first video in my Sikkim series. We traveled from Gujarat to Bagdogra to Gangtok in Sikkim. On this day we also went to Yumthang Valley which is approx 141km far from Gangtok. on that day we went to Lachung and I tried some delicious local Sikkimese food! We also explored Pelling and West Sikkim. Today we are in Yumthang Valley ( North Sikkim). Yumthang Valley is a paradise on earth, which is full of natural wonders and picturesque beauty. It is home to a zillion flowers, spectacular mountains & a serene river, and is often also called as the ‘Valley of Flowers. It's breathtaking and magical surroundings make it a must-visit place for every traveler. The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, is a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains in the North Sikkim district of Sikkim state in India
