"You're on your own, kid, you always have been." ANY NAN HATE WILL BE DELETED RIGHT AWAY! TAKE YOUR MISOGYNY ELSEWHERE. God, where do I even begin describing how much I love Nan? She's been through so much and been put in such impossible positions, and throughout it all she still tries so hard to be compassionate and help those around her. But her evil patriarchal society keeps ruining her happiness, and it's so hard for her to find her own freedom and identity when the deck is stacked against her at every turn. It's also SO TYPICAL that the audience of this show responds to Nan's arc with such misogyny. It proves that so many of you are still stuck in the patriarchy and have no empathy for women that actively try to break free from it. As I as listening to Midnights recently, this song came on and I just KNEW it was perfect for Nan's S2 arc! Especially after that ending. So I started working on this vid and it came together insanely fast! I tried to show as many of the moments that informed her choices in the finale, and I hope that those who couldn't understand her there can understand her perspective a bit better after watching this. Either way, while I obviously couldn't go into every single aspect of Nan's arc, I think I still managed to do the most important parts of it justice.
