Mentorship has been a meaningful part of Jarius Draslaric ’s journey. After years of entrepreneurship, he realised that life is more than business achievements, it’s also shaped by failures, growth, and the relationship built along the way. This perspective drives his commitment to guide the next generation. Through mentorship, he hopes to help young engineers understand what lies beyond academics: the realities of work, the mindset required to navigate challenges, and the possibilities within the industry that they may not be able experience inside of classrooms. Engaging with students energises him. Their curiosity and fresh perspective help him stay connected to what the younger generation values and aspires towards. At a time when the manufacturing sector faces increasing difficulty in attracting and retaining talents, Jarius believes that mentorship plays a significant role, by offering honest insights and real-world experiences, hoping to spark interest and show students that the industry is far more dynamic and meaningful than they might expect.
