Tatyana left Lenya in the baby's home almost immediately after birth. He was born with spina bifida, and doctors said he would be a “lying vegetable.” Relatives urged me to write a refusal, but my husband did not support me either. Tatyana obeyed. For 18 years there was not a single day that she did not remember and worry about this. But Lenya lived his whole life, first in an orphanage, then in an orphanage, and for the last 2 years in the social center of the Road of Life charity foundation.
