Hi guys. In this video I share the reasons why I decided to try the new UNI-T UT15B Max. It is part of a new series of digital multimeters just released by UNI-Trend, the other two being UT17B Max, and UT18B Max. One of the main reasons was the inclusion of audible and visual warnings. The intent here is to alert the user in order to avoid potential short circuit fault due to wrong connection of the function and input terminals. The other reason was they equipped the 15B Max with two, 1000V, high speed, high rupturing capacity (HRC) fuses as current input protection. There are other things that positively appeal to it, as well as some things that may need to be improved. It should be noted that the manufacturer has also released some time ago the "Pro" versions, namely: UT15B Pro, UT17B Pro, and UT18B Pro. Incidentally, I was able to purchase my UT15B a few days ago for the same amount of money as my UT191T Pro 4 years ago. If you would kindly hit that like and subscribe buttons, I would appreciate it very much. Regardless of the safety features of the 15B Max and any other DMM for that matter they are not a substitute for good safety practice. Always follow safety procedures. Thanks for your support! Stay safe.
