The Hyundai Ioniq5 Remains our FAVORITE Electric Vehicle // 2023 Hyundai Ioniq5 Family Review

Megan has always said she was not interested in EVs, mainly due to her concerns about EV range and charging infrastructure. After living with the Hyundai Ioniq5, and even having some charging inconvenience at one of our usual EV charging stations, she was completely won over. The Hyundai Ioniq5's user friendly and well equipped interior was her favorite part of the vehicle. And even though she didn't love the Hyundai Ioniq5's exterior styling, the spaciousness and practicality for our tall family was undeniable. Considering we had just had the Kia Niro EV before, which she really didn't like at all, the fact that she really enjoyed the Hyundai Ioniq5 so much speaks to its overall goodness and approachable EV driving dynamics. More so than its corporate siblings, the Kia EV6 and Genesis GV60, the Ioniq5 combines the best of all worlds and on a fast charger is able to recharge faster than a Tesla Model 3. Yes, the charging network isn't as good as Tesla, but with plugs and charge stations starting to be shared, that infrastructure complaint will fade away as electric vehicles proliferate.
