Guest lecture by Philippe Koch (ZHAW, Institut Urban Landsape, Switzerland) in the course 'City Matters: Urban Inequality and Social Justice' at the University of Groningen, Faculty of Spatial Sciences, on 17 September 2024. The course 'City Matters: Urban Inequality and Social Justice' (#CityMatters24) was taught by Christian Lamker, Sara Özogul (Department of Spatial Planning and Environment) and Sander van Lanen (Department of Cultural Geography) between September and October 2024 as a compulsory course for Master students in the programme Society, Sustainability and Planning (SSP) and an elective for other Master programmes of the Faculty and the University. Connected to the seminar series “Where is Urban Politics?”. It is a hybrid seminar series hosted by the University of Groningen. The series is organised by Marian Counihan (UCG, University College Groningen), Christian Lamker (Faculty of Spatial Sciences), with input from Elen Trell, Marlieke Wilders and Ryan Wittingslow. We are hosted by the Transitions and Social Justice group at the Rudolf Agricola School for Sustainable Development and funded by the YAG-SER Interdisciplinary Projects Incentive fund.
