Join me on Patreon!   / tinypineoutdoors   Day 13 of solo hiking the Coast to Coast, I woke to a beautiful morning of blue skies & bright sunshine. I left Lordstones & went on along the trail through woodland & undulating terrain across the hilly North York Moors. After climbing uphill into the moorlands, I came across Bloworth crossing, a remote section of moorlands where the C2C and Cleveland way split. The trail took me along a 7+ mile track of dismantled railway and the stretch was slightly monotonous with little to look at, but my spirits were high as I was making good ground, and baby ground nesting birds were scurrying in the long grass by the path I walked along. I approached the Lion inn at Blakey Ridge, and was planning to stop there for only an hour to charge my devices and a proper rest. However, what I'll discuss in the next video is that I ended up camping at Blakey Ridge as all of my devices were completely flat, and an hour wasn't enough time to charge them for the rest of the day and the whole day tomorrow. Without any charge in my phone I wouldn't have been able to tell Cameron my location & time to pick me up the following day, and for obvious safety reasons too. So, I made the decision to camp there, as a super helpful member of staff, Callum, told me it's only £3 to camp there for the night, I could charge whatever I'd need to, and he'd even arrange a lift for me the next day to Glaisdale to get me back on tack! He was an absolute lifesaver. Anyway, I slept well in my tent that night, surrounded by a few other campers as we watched the sun set & the full strawberry moon in the lilac sky. --- Thank you to everyone watching, I appreciate each and every one of you!
