Having explored the sources for The Great Divorce and its context, this lecture looks at it in the light of the interests we have already seen mark C.S. Lewis as a scholar confronting an academy and a world prone to reductionist views of life. This has a particular effect on the view of Miracles and of Heaven, the subject of discussion in this work.
