This week, more than 23 million California voters will receive their ballots in the mail for the state's special election on redistricting and the latest voter registration numbers show a slight shift in party preference. As of last month, nearly half of all voters are registered with the Democratic Party, while 25% are registered with the Republican Party, and 22% have no party preference. The latest state voter registration data show since February 10, 82,700 people have registered as No Party Preference voters, and the Republican Party has gained 48,000 voters. In contrast, Democrats have only gained 190 voters in over 200 days. Democratic strategist Steven Maviglio and Republican strategist Tim Rosales joined California Politics 360 to dive into the numbers. KCRA 3 is your home for California breaking news and weather.
