Paint and finishes release VOC's (volatile organic compounds) not only while in use but they also off-gas while drying. Like Travis points out, the smells of what's known as "fresh paint" or "new carpet" are actually the smells of VOC's in the air. The EnviroKlenz® Air System can not only remove these VOC's from the air, but it can also neutralize them so they cannot be re-released back into the air. The EnviroKlenz® Air System has a two-stage filtration process. The first stage is the EnviroKlenz® Air Cartridge which contains our patented earth mineral technology. During this stage, VOC's are captured and then neutralized. The second stage of filtration is a hospital-grade HEPA Filter. This captured 99.9% of particulates down to .3 microns.
