The Blue Ridge Parkway is pretty much the perfect American Road Trip. The parkway runs 469 miles from Cherokee, North Carolina to Waynesboro, Virginia. Along the way there is not a single stop sign or stoplight and you can cruise at 45 miles per hour the entire way. The parkway is full of pullouts for viewpoints, hikes, history and waterfalls, leading to many great adventures along the drive.
