A request by username The Batman. Batman Triumphant was Joel Schumacher's proposed sequel to Batman and Robin and the fifth film in the Burton/Schumacher batman films. This film would have been both a return to a darker style of batman and would have been Schumacher's apology to the fans to whom he felt he still owed "a true batman film”. This film would have taken elements from the Dark Knight Returns with Bruce Wayne having retired from the role of batman some years ago, only to forced to re-don the cowl as a new villain appears in Gotham City. Proposed villains included the Scarecrow and Man-Bat. This trailer is my closest approximation to what the film could have looked like. As with my Tim Burton trailers, I tried to match the previous films visual style and casting choices as close as possible. This film when through many drafts and I had quite a few options for both actors and character., This trailer is largely based on a later script also known as Batman: DarKnight (sic) and some of it rumored casting choices.
