Varnam is a form of music by practicing it we will get introduction to the patterns and styles of various ragas,its taste or rasam, specialities and swara prastharam. Very helpful to students like me.I got a collection of more than 100 varnams from my father, I am working on it and practicing.Thought of posting it so it will be a permanent record as well as may help some one interested in studying also. I had done it on a speed performance pattern.Not in a lesson mode.Study lessons available on a lot of you tube channels.It is better to hear vocal lessons first and by heart it and practice on violin.
