❗️Disclaimer❗️ This episode documents the traditional process of preparing lechon as practiced in Talisay, Cebu — widely regarded as the lechon capital of the Philippines. In some parts of Talisay, it remains a common practice for the slaughtering and roasting to happen in the same space, especially in long-running, family-operated setups. Our intention in showing this process is not to sensationalize or criticize, but to respectfully highlight the hard work and reality behind one of the most iconic Filipino dishes. This video was made for educational and cultural documentation purposes, with deep respect for the lechoneros who allowed us to witness their craft. We acknowledge that food preparation practices may vary depending on local customs and evolving regulations. Hey guys! Welcome back to another TRABAHO episode! 🥹 This TRABAHO episode is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while — we’re going behind the scenes of one of the most iconic Filipino dishes: lechon! 🇵🇭 We usually see lechon as the star of the party, but rarely do we think about the intense labor behind it. From the prep to the roasting (and everything in between), I got to witness just how much heat, pressure, and precision it takes to pull this off — and honestly, it’s no joke. BIG shoutout to all the hardworking lechoneros and lechoneras out there! Special thanks to Marb’s Lechon in Talisay for allowing us to document their day-to-day work! 🙏 *Join my membership channel to get access to exclusive perks like members-only videos, live streams, early access to new videos and more: / @jessicaleeseul *Instagram / jessicaleeseul *Join my broadcast channel on Instagram for quick access to different updates from me! https://ig.me/j/AbbAAlcJkk36iH17/ *Business Inquiries [email protected] *FAQ Age?
