I’ve had my rest and feel quite ready to do what I have to do. After school I come back home and then I have my tea. Monday, Monday, that’s the day for me. Tuesday is the day of the week when I can play with my friends. We go to the park until it gets dark and play right up to the end. When I’m in bed I close my eyes and have a lovely sleep. Tuesday, Tuesday, that’s the day for me. Wednesday is the day of the week when I can go to the shops, I go with my Mom it’s so much fun we shop until we drop. We feel so happy to sit in a cafe and eat some cake with our tea. Wednesday, Wednesday, that’s the day for me. Thursday is the day of the week when I can go on the train. I’ll huff and puff and chuff and huff it’s such a wonderful game. I pull the brake and blow the whistle there’s no better place to be. Thursday, Thursday, that’s the day for me. Friday is the day of the week when I can go on my boat. I’ll row and row wherever I go as long as I stay afloat. I’ll row on the lake as long as it’s safe but never row on the sea. Friday, Friday, that’s the day for me. Saturday is the day of the week when I can play my sport. I’ll bat the bat and catch the catch exactly the way I was taught. I’ll kick the ball and climb the wall so everybody can see Saturday, Saturday, that’s the day for me. Sunday is the day of the week when I can see my gran.
