In this video I review a nice Nikon prime lens: Nikkor AF 50mm F/1.8 D. I talk about what I like and don't like about this lens, show sample photos taken with it and also determine the sweet spot of this 50 mm Nikon's prime lens. I conclude that Nikkor 50 mm F/1.8 D offers excellent image quality in a small package. I like that it has a dedicated aperture ring and it is very affordable second hand these days. The build quality of this lens is OK, too. In summary I recommend the Nikon 50mm F1.8 D prime lens to most photographers.
