(27 Jul 1995) Serbo Croat/Eng/French The military commander of the Bosnian Serbs, General Ratko Mladic says he has no immediate plans to attack the so called safe area Gorazde. The West is threatening air strikes against Serb positions if the enclave comes under rebel attack. Mladic's comments came as more Muslim refugees arrived at the small town of Kladanj from Zepa. The Bosnian Serb commander oversaw the expulsion of refugees himself. Bosnian Muslim refugees were rounded up and herded onto buses in Zepa late Wednesday - bound for the government controlled town Kladanj. Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladic was on hand to personally oversee their expulsion from the so called safe area. SOUNDBITE: (Serbo-Croat) "Good evening, how are you? My name is General Mladic, you have probably heard lots of stories about me. All of you are going to go to Kladanj just as the previous group went , don't be afraid, nothing will happen to you, you are free. All the best to you. I wish you all the luck. SUPER CAPTION: General Ratko Mladic, Commander of the Bosnian Serb Army. This is what the West describes as ethnic cleansing. Zepa is the second last eastern enclave to be captured by the Serbs with only Gorazde remaining. The General went on to ask refugees if they were being well treated. UPSOUND: (Voice of interpreter) "People in America are very keen to know whether the Serbian soldiers have been raping your women and girls." SUPER CAPTION: General Ratko Mladic "No, they haven't" SUPER CAPTION: Muslim refugees Looking hungry, tired and scared they answered that they were happy to have left the fallen enclave. While the world has condemned the Bosnian Serbs' capture of Srebrenica and Zepa - it has so far done nothing to stop General Mladic from reaching his objectives to link Serb holdings in Bosnia with Serbia itself.
