Knox Hadleigh Men's glove - Short cuff waterproof glove perfect for 3 seasons. Introducing the latest addition to the Knox Hand Armour collection, the Knox Hadleigh men's glove. The Hadleigh glove is the first men’s short cuff waterproof glove from Knox. Clearly, we’ve been making long cuff waterproof gloves for a long time now and in an ideal world they’d be the best solution in terms of pure waterproofing as the cuff gauntlet is higher up the sleeve which stops water ingress. However, they aren’t for everyone, not everyone likes a long cuff glove and frankly there are just parts of the year and matching riding clothing that just works better with short cuff gloves and the addition of the Knox seal waterproof technology means that you are retaining that benefit. The Hadleigh is made from 0.8mm aniline cow hide which is beautiful and soft from the outset, aniline being the highest quality of cowhide, it has a goat skin palm and it has Nubuck panels overlaid on the fingers. A mixture of the construction method and materials used means they are super comfortable and don’t take a lot of breaking in, in comparison to our sports gloves. Like all Knox gloves, the Hadleigh features Knox patented scaphoid protection system or SPS, this technology is designed to eliminate the grab effect that occurs when a leather palm contacts the road, reducing the risk of hyper extension which can be the cause of a broken scaphoid. The knuckle guard is made from Knox MicroLock material ensuring a soft and comfortable yet protective knuckle guard. The Hadleigh is CE approved to EN13594 and has been independently tested in 15 areas to pass this test. Waterproofing is guaranteed through a technology called Knox Seal – a breathable membrane which is fully laminated to the back of the leather, ensuring the rider stays dry. Knox Seal sits directly below the glove shell, enhancing the thermal insulation and natural heat of your hand, leaving you drier, warmer and more comfortable. Finishing the design is an accordion cuff and our Knox Lift & Lock strap for a secure wrist closure. The lift and lock closure is a fantastic addition and makes getting the gloves on and off so much better than other methods.
