A departure from the high-energy progressive house he is renowned for, the album explored textured, psychedelic chill and ambient soundscapes. A standout moment from the LP was ‘Memory #3’, a hauntingly beautiful electronic piece recorded in a single take using a modular synth. While the original was an exercise in pure ambient experimentation, a club-focused interpretation began taking shape well before the album’s release. The remix became a firm favourite for label boss and A&R James Grant, which led to the track being selected for the highly anticipated Anjunadeep 16.
