Simply exists to archive the history. Hey guys, it's been a while, hasn't it? Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to return to this channel, or at least not like this, but figured with the circumstances given, I figured to give this old home one last hurrah. This will be my last traditional video on this channel and likely the last content you will ever see covering related to Jeffy's Infinite Irida. I've talked to Vibre about releasing some of his wips made for his version of the shucks to the public. You will be able to listen to this old draft version alongside other wips which will be made available to the Internet Archive. (The video will include trivia related to the development of this song in particular.) After this I'll stop documenting about Irida*, not like I had anything else to say or show after this video. Just to reiterate again in case you haven't gotten the memo: no longer associated with Irida as a whole. There was no drama between me and the Irida team; I have no issues or beef with the directors betasheep or Coquers (or the majority of the dev team in fact.) Moreover, my departure is rooted in frustrations with the management of this mod after a year of fuckups and behaviour from some individuals that I don't like/feel uncomfortable being around, which is all I'm going to say. There is a multitude of factors into this, but the main ones are the reason for my distancing from this project. That said, there is a reason I put that asterisk in the beginning. Maybe something happens that forces my hand to respond or act on the situation. For now, just expect me to not engage with Irida and other similar mods during my return here. Not gonna be like full "not acknowledge its existence" that's stupid, but definitely not engaging on it anymore. Apologies if some of you are disappointed by that, but I hope this brief explanation gives insight into this decision from my part. moving away from that topic: This version of shucks was made by VibreProductions, this was being worked on after previous failed attempts from former devs and one of the first things I had the pleasure to see it being worked on. This is like my favourite version of the song; the instrumental is genuinely one of the best out there. Even better than Duccly's and Rivermusic's version. I thought it would be fitting to document this song as the last traditional archival video here, something that holds significant value to me, a time to get to know wonderful people and their talent. This video is for me. Just to put expectations down, it ain't that different from the "finalized" version out there, but there is enough differences and changes to make this worth documenting. It's not gonna blow your socks off but it's still a very nice way to conclude this for good. apologies if I spent a good chunk ranting like a madman, but I hope overall you guys enjoy this last video.
