This Hazy Kveik IPA Recipe comes from the Mikkeller Brewing Company. This was actually only the fourth time I have ever brewed a beer and first-ever how to brew video, so I would like to apologize right away for the production quality and any brewing mistakes. Besides that, I believe this recipe is great and recommend it to any homebrewer out there. Some notes about this beer that are not in the video. It fermented out and hit its final gravity in about a day and a half. I pitched my yeast at around 4 PM on a Saturday and was done dry hopping and bottled it that following Friday Morning. Enjoy!!! Recipe: 5 Gallon OG: 1.060 FG: 1.018 Grain Bill: 15.3 LB 9 LB 2-Row Malt 3.25 LB Flaked Oats 1.25 LB Flaked Wheat 1.8 LB Crisp Wheat Stike Water: 160 degrees F Mash Water and Time: 152 degrees F for 60 minutes Yeast: Omega Yeast OYL - 091 Hornidal Kveik Hops: 1.5 OZ of both Motueka & Galaxy hops for 15 minutes at whirlpool at 175 degrees F 2.5 OZ of both Citra & El Dorado hops for 3 - 5 days of dry hopping(make sure do this after you reach your final gravity and then drop fermenter temperature to 70 degrees F) Shout out to The Home Beer, Wine and Cheesemaking Shop in Woodland Hills, California for all the ingredients and always being so helpful.
