Into The Darkness VR is a brand new VR physics driven adventure game that at first glance looks a lot the next Bonelab / Boneworks... but does this new VR game have the same level of polish that one of the best VR games of the last few years has? Is this really going to be a new triple A VR adventure for PCVR and PSVR2 players? Well, Into The Darkness VR has been in development for a long time, I think it's been on my Steam wish list for at least 4 years and after finally going hands on with the new playtest today I can safely say it feels like we're still quite far away from seeing the finished product. Into The Darkness VR currently feels jankier than I had hoped, it definitely isn't a disaster but it feels like there is still A LOT of polishing to do before this game can live up to it's high potential. Combat, audio, visuals and UI all fell short of where I'd like them to be but this playtest can help shape the game into the excellent VR physics fighting adventure experience that it has the potential to be, everyone who plays the current demo on Steam will be given a chance to fill out a feedback form after completing the content available - So if you want Into The Darkness to be the best VR game it can possibly be I'd urge you to check it out and give the devs some valuable, actionable feedback.
