After dealing with constant flooding for a number of seasons, I relocated the Frog Pond to another wooded area in the backyard. New discovery for the amphibian gang, of course, so I went about initiating the new bearing. Didn't take long for nature to take its course, so to speak, with a Green Frog invasion in the first year. Must have been the "Floating Hearts" plants, a frog favorite because of the density. A prelude to what today, years later, is a successful breeding mecca for both the Wood Frog and Spotted Salamander in the early Spring.
