Sand Mountain Recreation Area is a 4,800 OHV area managed by the BLM that is nearly three miles long and one mile wide. If you are used to Glamis, this might seem small, but it is largest dune field in the region with a 600 foot change in elevation from top to bottom, and people come from hundreds of miles away to play here.
