We then commit the sin again, and then ask forgivness again, and we even commit it for a third time and that is when shaytaan starts putting doubts in us that, " Allah will probably not forgive me any more!". This thought is more dangerous than any sin! Shaytaan never comes to us to tell us to stop doing the sin, but he'll always come to tell us to stop asking for forgiveness! However, Allah's mercy is beyond our grasp! So never feel depressed, ask forgiveness and come closer to your Lord. "Truly in the heart there is a void that can not be removed except with the company of Allah. And in it there is a sadness that can not be removed except with the happiness of knowing Allah and being true to Him. And in it thereis an emptiness that can not be filled except with love for Him and by turning to Him and always remembering Him And if a person were given all of the world and what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness" [Not a Hadith].
