John Tosco is mainstay of the Charlotte music scene. Through thick and thin, John has championed music's ability to lift spirits and build community in the Queen City. It started with inviting friends to hang out and play music in his home and blossomed into sing-alongs at the Evening Muse and large, live concerts -- Tosco Music Parties -- throughout the year. Tosco Music's mission comes from John's passion to bring people together with the understanding that music can move us all. To aid the Charlotte music scene, Tosco Music partnered with Charlotte Center City's Partners' Music Everywhere and the Fair Play Music Music Initiative to launch a virtual Tosco Music Party to raise needed funds for the Charlotte Music Community COVID-19 Relief Fund. He joined Tim Miner to talk about how the event came together and music's role during the COVID-19 outbreak.
