Here's a step-by step guide on how to unlock the advanced tuck front lever pull up - plus three unique front lever progressions you can add to your training. Before I regale you with the benefits of this impressive calisthenics exercise, I need to clear up a potential cause of confusion. I originally titled this video 'How to Progress From Pull Up Rows to Advanced Tuck Front Lever Pull Ups', but I decided that was WAY too long and confusing. So, I renamed it 'How to Advanced Tuck Front Lever Pull Up'. However, the 'problem' with this is I had already scripted the video in a way that was all about progressing from the pull up row - which is why this video starts off with me saying 'I'm going to show you how to progress from the pull up row'. Don't worry, this video still functions perfectly as a guide for learning the advanced tuck front lever pull up. But I thought I should address that to avoid any confusion. Now, for the benefits of learning the advanced tuck front lever pull up: 1. It's great for building strength and size in your upper back, lats, biceps, forearms and core 2. It's one of the first front lever progressions for the front lever pull up (so it's necessary to learn if you want to unlock the full front lever pull up) 3. It's a horizontal pulling movement that targets the traps, rhomboids and rear delts more directly than pull ups. This helps to create a thicker, fuller back. 4. It (and every other front lever progression) strengthens the muscles in the back and shoulders that support the scapulae. Strengthening these reduces the chance of experiencing a shoulder injury. With all the benefits laid out, you can see why it's a good idea to add advanced tuck front lever pull ups to your front lever training. Give it a try and let me know how you get on. *Pull up row tutorial* How to Pull Up Row (BIG Back Gains!): • How to Pull Up Row (BIG Back Gains!) *Follow me* Subscribe to Ashton Fitness here (it’s free!): https://www.youtube.com/c/ashtonfitne...
