After doing some relaxing we headed north to the Cederberg Mountains to do some hikes around these dramatic rock formations. Due to the weather we did an unexpected wine tasting too at the Cederberg winery. We only had two nights in the region which was not enough and sadly almost one whole day we were hit by rain - which caused us to change plans - and skip the planned hike to the Maltese Cross for another wine tasting - which turned out to be the most intense wine tasting we ever had with about 10 wines to taste. ;-) But there was time for one hike - so we checked out the Lot's Wife area and wondered around these great rock formations which reminded us a little bit of the Colorado Plateau. We will definitely come back some day. Let us know in the comments what's your favorite scene. ================================================= Nachdem wir uns etwas entspannt hatten, machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Norden zu den Zederbergen, um einige Wanderungen in diese dramatischen Felsformationen zu unternehmen. Aufgrund des Wetters haben wir auch eine unerwartete Weinverkostung auf dem Weingut Cederberg gemacht. Wir hatten nur zwei Nächte in der Region, was definitiv zu wenig war, und leider wurden wir fast einen ganzen Tag vom Regen erwischt - was uns dazu veranlasste, unsere Pläne zu ändern - und die geplante Wanderung zum Malteserkreuz für eine weitere Weinverkostung auszulassen - und es stellte sich als die intensivste Weinverkostung, die wir je hatten, heraus mit etwa 10 Weinen zum Probieren. ;-) Aber für eine Wanderung war noch Zeit - also haben wir uns das Gebiet von Lot's Wife angesehen und die Felsformationen bewundert, die uns ein wenig an das Colorado Plateau erinnerten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall eines Tages wiederkommen.
