This time we are going to completely restore an old watch that we can buy on Ebay in packages of 5 for 15 or $ 20. The state of these watches is usually non-functioning and in very poor condition, but they are ideal candidates for this type of radical restoration. In this case we are only going to leave the dial in its original state, because in my opinion it has aged very well. It can still fulfill its function and will be a way of preserving its original character while being a contrasting element with the rest of the elements, which are going to be restored. As the chrome of the box is in very poor condition, it will be lowered and nickel plated. I am not going to polish it because I want it to have a matte finish and not shiny silver. I will replace the acrylic plexiglas with a new one, as the original is missing a piece. You will be dressed in a new leather strap. And finally, I am going to subject the movement to a complete cleaning and oiling service.
