Pothundi dam Palakkad: A scenic drive to the dam/garden

We started out from near Palakkad Kotta Maithanam. Our journey was via Palakkad - Koduvayur - Meenakshipuram highway, Koduvayur-Pallavoor-Vithanasseri road and Nenmara - Nelliyampathy road. The journey was approximately 32 kms. The route has lots on stunning scenaries all along. The video tries to bring before you these scenic views. Pothundi dam is an irrigation dam situated in the Pothundi village in Palakkad district in Kerala, India. It is a good place to spend a half day. There are playing areas for children and there are activities like sky cycling for the adventurous. Please watch the video in HD 1080p resolution.
