The SR250 is ready for a backyard, low budget DIY motorcycle paint job! It's hard to believe the bike wasn't even running just a few weeks ago. I'm happy with how the paint turned out, given it was just a backyard paint job using inexpensive Rustoleum primer and paint. It was my first time using Spraymax 2k clear coat (two stage clear coat in a rattle can), and it did a phenomenal job. Definitely heed the warnings and precautions when spraying, though, it's nasty stuff. The polish used on the chrome was Barkeeper's Friend and some 0000 steel wool. Since then I’ve worked as a mechanic, owned countless bikes, and even worked in the motorcycle industry for a number of years as a photographer and journalist. Now I do mainly video production and enjoy nothing more than making and sharing these motorcycle videos on YouTube. Thanks again for watching. Ride safe! jimmytmoto
