Five brothers, two world titles and many national titles made the Hilton family Canada's fighting pride during the 1980's, but their out-of-the ring exploits have caused many fans who live in 'glass houses' to view them with shame dispite the many thrills they have provided Canadian boxing fans over the years. Matthew Hilton captured the IBF 154lb Jr Middleweight world championship in 1987 by defeating Buster Drayton, and Davey Hilton Jr won the WBC 168lb Super Middleweight world championship in 2000 when he defeated Dingaan Thobela. Their father, Davey Sr, was a three-division Canadian champion who briefly trained with Muhammad Ali, and was once called a talented boxer by Ali himself in one of Ali's books.
