In todays episode of Cocktails with Ciara, I (a big whiskey fan) am making an AMARETTO SOUR for the first time! I am using Jeffrey Morgenthaler's recipe which is a twist on the original - the addition of bourbon. 🗝️ Support my channel & unlock exclusive content by joining my Patreon Community here:   / ciaraodoherty   🗝️ ✨ Ingredients ✨ 45 ml amaretto 22.5 ml bourbon (I used Bulleit) 30 ml lemon juice 5 ml 2:1 simple syrup 15 ml egg white, lightly beaten (I used aquafaba instead) Maraschino Cherries to garnish ✨ Method ✨ Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake without ice Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass Garnish with Maraschino cherries Enjoy! #DrinkAware https://www.drinkaware.ie/ More info: The Amaretto Sour was created in America in the 1970s, when Italian spirits and liqueurs were starting to become popular in America.
