This is a solo run of Insane difficulty played on the XBOX Series X version of the game. The game was played on 4K/60Hz, and the videos were recorded in and rendered at 4K/60fps. COMMENTARY NOTATIONS/AMENDATIONS KARN BOSS FIGHT 0:09 Phase 1 Fires from turrets. Grenade launcher fires two incendiary grenades a couple of seconds apart. During this phase, Karn will not charge. Area to hit: grenade launcher. 1:38 Phase 2 Spawns Cyclopes, Theron Guards, and an Elite Mauler. Uses Digger Launcher and charges after using it. Unlike phase one, he does not fire from his turrets or launch incendiary grenades. Area to hit: right leg. 4:27 Phase 3 Spawns two Grinders and several Ragers. As in the first phase, Karn resumes firing from turrets. He does not, however, launch incendiary grenades or charge. When most of the spawned enemies are killed, he throws imulsion waves. Area to hit: mouth of beast. After sustaining enough damage, he will collapse and you will receive support from Raven choppers. A period of waiting ensues, during which you are not required to damage Karn further. Stay alive long enough to reach the cutscene and you have completed the final boss.
