Fixing the water leak in the Impala's trunk part2. After replacing the gaskets, I went through a car wash and looked, but did not find any water in the trunk, as I could before. I did make sure it was completely dry before doing so. I have heard people say: 1.That" the leak is in the sunroof", but I have not since fixing, had any more water pooling. Also, the back seat floor-no longer gets wet. 2." The whole light assembly, needs to be changed". I have found that the original gasket, was not thick enough to seal in the radius of the sheet metal.
