It all started with a train ride 🚆 from Surabaya to Jogjakarta, passing endless green fields and villages. From there, Jogja welcomed me with sweet Gudeg, Bakpia snacks, and even a mushroom restaurant where everything — from the satay to the drinks — was made of mushrooms 🍄😂. Waking up before dawn, I hiked to Punthuk Setumbu for a magical sunrise overlooking Borobudur 🌄, followed by a temple-hopping day through Borobudur, Mendut, Pawon, and the stunning Prambanan 🏯. The trip didn’t stop there — waterfalls, retro Magelang vibes, night markets, massages, and village dinners made every day a mix of adventure and surprises. And just like that, 4 days in Jogja flew by, ending with a bittersweet goodbye at the airport ✈️.
